I miss my beer so much

Maybe make a list about what you miss about drinking beer and also a list about what you hate about it?
I guess that second list is much longer then the first one…
Welcome Tell yourself that this is just your addict brain telling you you miss it. Nothing good comes from drinking alcohol. What do you do to distract yourself?
I’m having a little different approach to this.
What do you miss, why do you miss it?
If it’s the taste or a special feeling, then I solve that with non alcoholic beer, which works for me. Not for everyone.
Is it a special feeling that you miss? If so, is there anything else that’ll make you feel the same way?
What happens if you do something completely different when you start to think about beer?
For me, going for a walk works
I always liked to have a beer when I went out for sushi. Sometimes these days I will get a NA beer in those situations. It’s not often, but it does kill any cravings I have.
I miss my addiction like I miss drinking a can of bleach. Because that’s how much value it actually has… Which is zero value.
Once I stopped assigning the crazy amount of value to something that has no value, I missed it a lot less.
