It’s ok to be scared. It might be hard but try to be kind to yourself. Don’t forget to breath. Yes, there is a possibility that loved ones and people who trusted you will be hurting because of your behaviour (drinking, lying etc.). Remember: You yourself are hurting because of it, because of the consequences it causes. Please be kind to yourself. Work on staying sober, from minute to minute, one day at a time. Trust is something we all build up over time, with our behaviour, through acting according to what we speak. You relapsed. Many of us did. Hop on the sober train again and put the work into recovery. You are worth it. The shame will pass. You will regain confidence in yourself and from others. Just for now: Be sober. Sending you hugs, a friendly smile and good vibes
