Hello!
I been doing some work on my Recovery, but I haven’t been around here for a while. I’m glad the I’m here already.
I just want to share you part of my Recovery:
I started going to a therapy group, NA (Narcotics Anonymous), and let me tell you this, it is amazing!
It feels a lot like the work the we been doing here in this app, but with a little plus. Because you can see the people face to face. Everyone there is an addict, like me, like us. And it feels really good to have those people experiences on me, it feels like we all are going on the same path, like here!
I can’t say enough things about this. I really can’t. And for what I know, this group is everywhere. Is a global thing, so if you are reading this, let me invite you to your first session. Google it, and if, just if, you have it close to you, please… Go!
I love you guys! You was the first step to let me go to a place like that, and for the first time I’m feeling progress. Progress:)
I’m happy. Thank you for reading:)
Im so glad ur having a good experience eith NA! My 1st ever 12 step meeting.ovet a decade ago was an NA one and i really enjoyed them too
I think they are exactly what we need, my therapist told me that every addict is because a emotional issues, and they let us feel all emotions with company, it works a lot for me
AA fellowship member here I’m soo glad you have experienced your first meeting fellowship s save lives
Good for you Armando.
That’s great! You sound excited about it.
I started my sober journey here and I did great here. It’s kept me sober. I finally started to go to AA. And guess what? I’m loving it too. I always thought I might not fit in because I didn’t get sober the AA way. It doesn’t matter how we get clean and sober. As long as we never pick up again. Tradition 3. I just have to have the desire not to use today. And so I qualify.
