Your posts on the message boards still get scraped like everything else. I think only the lounge and PMs are off limits.

Having your profile set to private stops the additional profile info being scraped, and others from viewing anything more personal about you. This does limit the ability to link stuff to you and maybe narrow down who you are.
Things like your location are very helpful to the wrong people. Which is why you should leave it as a country, not a specific city.

Thatā€™s right. Areas that require login privileges, like the Lounge and PMs, arenā€™t visible (or scrape-able).

Basically if you can see it when youā€™re logged out, something has probably indexed it. Thereā€™s a spike in crawler traffic once each month.

Main reason why I changed my username, deleted my photos, removed references to where I live and what I do for a living. I really donā€™t want my laundry aired for all the world to see.
