In need of help - ASAP

Hi all, I have been in a downward spiral the last few months and really need to detox. The problem is, I am not in a place where I can go away for detox. Does anyone know of any outpatient programs that will help you get through detox fox process?

This looks like a good place to start, or can you ask a doctor that maybe you’ve seen in the past, maybe they can point you in the right direction.

Or I would think a local hospital website would have different treatment options available. I’m not located east, so I’m unfamiliar with the Boston area. I wish I could be more help, but do some Google searches, there has to be something that would work, don’t give up.

More or less the obligations that would keep me from going. I was away last summer and it was very difficult to come back from that financially, relationship wise, etc

And on the other hand, jail, hospital or death can take care of those decisions for you. What are you willing to do to get sober?

So pretty much everything @Bluekoolaid said is the same experiences I’ve had out here in California. I have never been turned away from a hospital when I was seeking help to get sober. I think that is one of the best things you could do to start the detox process and they could hopefully direct you to options for when you discharge. You can do it!!! :sunglasses::metal:t2:

Totally understand this - I have been to treatment numerous times. I have the tools to stay sober, I just need to get back to that point. Was looking for a quick way to detox (in a safe way) and then get back into my support groups and keep working my program.
