I just opened the app and an ad popped up for sake! “Try Japan’s best sake” or similar message. I’d clicked it away before I thought to screenshot it unfortunately. I don’t know how much control you have over the ads but it seemed like it could be a negative trigger for some people.

I always get the one for “grow your own” weed. It’s not my DOC but annoying nonetheless

I believe ads are generated by your cookies and browsing history and have nothing to do with the actual app.

I use the app and sometimes there are these “lonely Girls in your area” ads with images that might trigger sex/porn addicts. I don’t know how much control the app makers can have because it’s a German ad for me and I think they’d need to check every ad for every country. Which might be a lot of work but it’s also quite important

I always get advertisements for rehab, becoming a counselor and Facebook. Nor sure why Facebook needs to advertise lol

I’m getting these same adds. Maybe by region since I’m in NJ and you’re in NY. Today is the rehab counselor one.

Were you able to do this without providing your credit card and personal info? That’s kept me from becoming a patron.

Have never googled sake and can’t remember even googling or browsing around Japan in recent history so this seems unlikely.
