Det som hjälpte mig att få kontakt med människor som talar olika språk är en applikation som heter Google Translate. Det har hjälpt mig många, många gånger. Jag hoppas bara att detta översattes tillräckligt bra för att du ska förstå.
For me, it’s three Fluently. English, Swedish and Romani (aka Gypsy language)
Born in Sweden, by gypsy parents with half of my family in US. Besides that we starts learning British English in daycare here and almost all our tv shows and movies comes from US, so most Swedes speaks English.
I’m currently trying to learn German but honestly I’m not good at it.
For a Swedish speaker Norwegian and Danish is also understandable because the languages are very similar. People who speaks Finnish usually understands Swedish but if you’re “Just a Swede” you probably won’t understand Finnish because we don’t get to learn that in school, It would’ve been awesome if we did but we don’t.
Sorry for babbling away.
You’re impressive, well done.
Thank you, luckily I’ve got all my “language skills” by birth so it’s not really that impressive. It’s just luck
Can you write those languages too? That’s gotta be a much greater challenge.
I sure can. Writing in gypsy language is doable sometimes not everything can be written because there’s not really a writing heritage so sometimes you just have to make up the word and the supposed spelling but for most of the times that works just fine. They all use the same alphabet so it’s easy.
How about the IKEA ballenbak (ball pit or bollhav)? Another IKEA stock item next to the meatballs here.
We’ve got it here too. And on a lot of Ikea stores there’s a big one in combination with a small indoor playground where you can leave the kids with a nanny when you’re shopping. If you pay for it ofc
I’ve worked in a factory making beds for Ikea when I was young.
