Dude im in bed! Gotta hit the gym in the am and get on with my day

Fun antidote hubby and i are struggling with getting older and the aches and pains. Tonight to prove were still young and healthy we had a competition to see who could get up from a seated position on the floor without using hands. It was tough but we did it. (I had to rock)

That was our halloween fun. And hubby dressed up and handed out candy

I hear you, played 4 games of pickleball in the space of two weeks before my back ceased up and I have been crippled for almost a week now. So, tonight consisted of 30 minutes with the massage gun, a heat pack and walking around the neighborhood to keep moving and catch up with the neighbors over Trick or Treat. I am not getting old, I am old.

Now on the couch watching a bit of TV and catching up here :upside_down_face:

Yeah I also stayed home tonight. I got all my obligations done earlier today. Everywhere I went today people were in the Halloween mood for sure and lots of costumes at the places I ate and at AA. Had a group text with family and we just talked about old Halloween memories a couple hours ago. Just been chilling at the house Eating way too much candy. Thought about finding something on Hulu but there’s too many options so I just been resting and reading on here occasionally. Maybe in the future they’ll be Halloween parties to go to or something like that but for now probably safer to stay home tonight. Going to go to bed in like an hour and get ready for work tomorrow.

Hocus Pocus makes me think of home (it was filmed there)

Thank you. We had a blast. We were literally the only house on the street that decorated, so it was fun to see all the kids enjoy it.

@TMAC I love Signs too! There aren’t many movies I watch repeatedly, but that one I can :+1:

It’s past midnight for me and I’ve caught up around here so I’m about to finish Bloodsucking Bastards. I’ve tapped out most of the horror sections on my platforms and now dig thru the lesser known titles in hopes of a winner :crossed_fingers: Alot of horror comedies lately. This one’s pretty funny so far…just waiting for the horror to start :smiling_imp:

Hope you enjoyed your Halloween!

I chilled at home with my brother and a couple friends. Only got two trick or treaters.
Watched Mr. Crocket and Don’t Move – not scary at all but interesting movies.

@cjp ooh - what did hubby dress up as?
@Clenton85 That is some awesome decorations

That’s not a lot, were you disappointed?

And were you celebrating Diwali too or do you not observe that? Apologies if this is an ignorant question.

Very disappointed indeed. I’m used to having a non stop parade of kids for hours. My brothers neighborhood is not as hopping on Halloween night. Guess they all go to the trunk or treat areas or neighborhoods with bigger homes.

I personally did not do anything special for Diwali. Not an ignorant question at all. My extended family did celebrate and I opted for Halloween celebrations instead.

We’ll send a few kids from here next year - my neighbor kept count and they had at least 250 (!) kids trick-or-treating. It was madness, the police even blocked off the local Broadway for cars so people could roam freely (which I totally approve of by the way)!

Holy crap . 250 ?? That’s insanity and id have run outta candy so quickly lol. Do send em my way…i Will be prepared next year
