Island Foods

In my family we have this ongoing game called Island foods. I thought it might be fun on here

You are stuck on an island for the rest of your life but you get to choose what you eat.

However, you only get choose 3 meals to have on the island. They can be the best meals you’ve ever had or meals you know you won’t get sick of.

Ex: you can choose pizza, pasta, cake.

What would your 3 island foods be? :joy:

My island foods:

  1. king crab legs :crab:
  2. mango sticky rice
  3. avocado toast on like really fresh, good bread lol

Hmmm I think mine would be:

  1. Muesli mix (the type I have for breakfast most mornings, I know I can eat that all the time)

  2. Tomato, cucumber, buckwheat and coriander salad

  3. Liver and onions a couple of times a week so I don’t die of protein deficiency or anemia :sweat_smile:

I love food so this would be tough… but I would probably have to go with

  • Medium rare peppercorn steak
  • Stir-fry
  • Ambrosia salad

I love asking this question because everyone has a different approach. I love how you’re worried about protein deficiency :joy: a very practical approach :clap:

Golden syrup porridge (yum)
Tuna pasta with tomatoes and cucumber salad

No one is choosing puddings, or chocolate. Impressive!

Mine would be pizza, salad (with everything) and I can’t choose between fruit salad or chocolate :yum:

Meat, vegetables, roasties, stuffing, yorkshire pudding and gravy cannot go wrong :smiley:

Haha, see it has it all! I am actually a vegetarian so it would be a bit of a cheats roast, but I would make sure to have all the many trimmings to bulk it out.

Ooo you can definitely have a veggie roast just as good :smiley:

My muesli mix has cacao nibs in it… Not quite the same but deffo need regular vit ‘c’

Chocolate is a close one for me! I chose mango sticky rice instead but I kind of go back and forth :joy:
