I watched Fat Sick and Nearly Dead, a documentary after hearing about it in a post recently. I am considering a juice fast for a few days to fill my body with nutrients and detox. I replaced alcohol w diet soda and sweets so hoping to reset my taste buds too! Just throwing it out there if anyone else is doing the same!
Ive done one before.Go for it!
Wow Thats a coincidence… I watched it last week too! I already had a Nutribullet (blender) so I’ve started making green smoothies with that for now, I may progress into juicing and do a fast but I already feel amazing after just a week of consuning smoothies with only fruits and vegetables (mainly vegetables) and salads and stirfrys with lean, good quality meat. Watch a documentary called Hungry for Change on Netflix, it really opens your eyes about food and how the food companies manipulate our emotions and weaknesses. It motivated me to stay away from processed foods as much as I can.
How long would you recommend to do it the first time? I work full time and am overall a healthy weight with really poor diet though…
I’ll look for it tonight. Thanks!
You guys should watch Sugar Coated too on Netflix.
Well I bought a cleanse by SUJA and it was 3 days. Its not a complete juice cleanse it comes with a pamphlet telling you what to eat with it.You are supposed to stick to that and it helps with the cleanse but theres also like 40 dollar cleanses you can buy too kinda expensive idk how long those are.
Im sure theres alot of info on cleanses on pinterest though if you are looking for somethinh inparticular
Thank you for sharing @Samme! I just watched the documentary and I am inspired! I ordered a juicer and I plan on trying this out. I really appreciate your share! I’ll post back here after I start…hopefully I’ll see some good results
