Following the chart above - 20 done today ![]()
Using the chart above. Thanks @les!
Day 1 ![]()
Was able to do standard pushups. 4 sets of 5. Rested 10ish secs in between as needed.
Day 1 done!
I’ll follow the proposal by @Jaybeeem (6 for the month + day of the month), the proposal by @les is a bit too much for me, I’d probably drop out very soon! ![]()
Day 1
did 10, waited a bit then did the other 10. It’s great to see so many of us getting after it! ![]()
I will just listen to my body and make standard pushups, every day different amount, depends how I feel.
Today I made 3 x 15
Me and push-ups go back a while. As part of my gym warm-up, I do 3 sets of high plank to push-ups. I’m at 1:15 for the plank, and 33 push-ups, total of 99 push-ups for the day. I will focus on increasing the push-up count per set.
I’m in. ![]()
I did 10 strict push-ups today.
My goal is 10 and to keep increasing by 1 or 2 or 3 if I feel good/stronger.
My max unbroken right now is 10 anyways and I just started to be able to strict a few months ago.
Anyways, let’s see how far I can get by the end of the month. I will most likely take more rest days in between.
Day 1 done. 2 sets of 20.
Day 2 complete. 8 pushups. 6 for the month# and 2 for the day#
15 wall push ups
I’m in, going to use the chart. Day 1 done!
Im a bit like @Juli1 not feeling the challenges for myself. But having said that I did 3x20 yesterday and 5x15 today. So I’ll see how it goes for me
Day 2
hope everyone has a great day ![]()
Day 2 done
Day 2 in the books. I’m using chart above as the minimum # of push-ups per day. ![]()
I am recovering from wrist surgery (2mths ago) and I noticed @CanadianGirl that I have a lot of pain still, so I am with you about feeling bummed about doing regular push ups. I’m going to do the wall push ups too and hey this is better than doing nothing right? We got this !
Any sort of variation that helps you is welcome. For wall pushups, try putting the knuckles of your fist on the wall rather than your palm, for example.
Day 2 done. 3 sets of 16. This challenge came at the right time for me. I had started to slack on my strength exercises and this is enough motivation to keep me going ![]()
Day 2
3 x 35 =105
As we begin our journeys, heed the words of the Bard.
William Shakespeare, Macbeth
Be bloody, bold, and resolute; laugh to scorn the power of man
