Also how do you celebrate sober? My instinct right now is tequila shots or champagne but obviously thats a bad idea lol. Im almost 9 months sober which is fucking awesome and im just so so so happy!
Congrats! I recently got accepted to grad school and also immediately wanted to go get drinks to celebrate. Glad I never did, not a positive way to start out a new chapter. I wish you the best!

The celebration is both your achievements and as much that you celebrated sober when your first reaction was to get alcohol! Yay both of you!!
Update: i bought myself a slice of cheesecake and a bottle of Italian soda (its my new “nice/fancy” drink, 4$ for a bottle and its non alcoholic. I dont care for non alcoholic wines, but the soda has similar vibes and sometimes i just want a treat after a long day)
