Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on close to 6 years sobriety. I’d choose a night of chocolate over a night out anytime
Perfect! I like your philosophy. What kind of chocolate are you eating? I’m a chocolate lover

Chocolate penguin from Aldi
Great with a cup of tea
Always nice to have some wisdom here… both in sobriety and grand motherhood.
Welcome @Lowmood!
Spending time with your grandson and stuffing your faces with some chocolate sounds like the perfect sober day.
What’s troubling you,i’m here to listen
Sounds like a perfect day to me, welcome here!
Welcome welcome.
Hope you stick around, every new post helps someone somewhere!
Not too bad, like many I have bad anxiety and depression so mornings often tricky when cortisol levels are higher. Hopefully wears off with distraction
Staying connected here helps. Journaling your gratitude can also help.
Helps me to focus on doing my 3 morning things here.
100 day challenge thread
Daily Checkin thread
Gratitude thread.
I have to focus on what to write and think about what I am grateful for. By the time I am done with those 3 things, the anxiety is eased and my mind is calm and ready to take on the day. It’s a real struggle some days but I know the end result is worth it.
Hopefully a morning routine can help distract you in a similar way.
Thank you X
