Education is key here i believe

Feel free to look up AA literature and brows youtube for sobriety to get good education and storys of people who quit

Hey @parsa welcome to the community. Getting sober at 19 is a great idea. Although I was a little bit older when I got sober, I found myself drawn to YPAA (Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous). They are a global part of AA who are primarily younger. Some of my good friends in sobriety got sober at your age or even younger.

Stick around, ask questions, and be willing to learn and grow.

Hey @parsa , it’s great that you’re here! One thing I wish I’d known earlier is that it’s easier to get sober with a community of support around you, whether that’s here, or AA, or a SMART meeting or whatever. Reading and checking in here really helped me.

Do you have any ideas/plans for keeping yourself distracted during urges?

You can do this!
