This is a quick piece i made while during a time of stress. What do you see in this piece, any abstract meanings, any wisdom portrayed here, how do you relate to my piece?
It makes me think of the stress and anxiety that come with alcoholism and drinking. The face looks kind of like an owl to me, and that makes me think of being awake all night for some reason. All the lines drawn together on the right side remind me of anxiety and that panicky feeling that you can’t control. They also remind me of that horrible fuzzy feeling when you’re incredibly hungover, like static in your brain.
I see an owl.
To me that would relate to isolation and darkness - in all its forms - staying up through the night, being/feeling alone, mind and thought in darkness and more, all darkness.
@Nordique how interesting i hadnt read your post until after i write mine and that we relste to it staying up all night ! I wonder what @King_of_Sam sees in this art work here and if you see the owl and what it represents for you?
I see an owl and a face with stubble that also looks like barbed wire. It feels like it can swallow you or suck you under. It’s chaotic and unsettling.
Also tornado eyes i see on the owl?
I am honored to express my opinion!!! Honestly, after looking at it for a while i saw a creepy face and i titled it alcholism. I saw it as this face as the “face” of alchohol filled with temptation and high interest happy loans. But yalls insights are so much more interesting to me… i never saw an owl before i posted it on here… thanks community… really making my journey easier
It is interesting, what we all see.
There is a thing like pur subconscious minds draw what we dont see kind of thing not sure im explaining this too well its 3:50am here so im not thinking as quick but like subconsciously your mind drew how it felt.
Will be interesting to see what others see too.
Yh this community is what has kept me sober honestly its my only support system i am so gratefull for everyone here, you will feel the love and you have all of us now too it really makes such a difference.
