Let's talk cars and trucks!

This was my last vehicle
Holden Calais VE

Decided to move to Ford Ranger Wildtrak 4x4 as we moved to a rural area and beaches. It goes everywhere and all terrain tires are proving to be worth the investment. Plus it can carry my fishing and dive gear. Also camping gears is a must.

Both are very nice looking! I’m not up on my ford’s. What kind of engine that have in it?

That’s a nice list! Always wanted to drive a Elise. Very few of them around where i live

You’re suppose to be looking at the cars :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
I guess I was 21.
What facial hair?

The Ford Wildtrak has a 3.2 litre, five cylinder turbodiesel puts out a very healthy 147kW and 470Nm, I have the six-speed auto which does an excellent job of embracing the engine’s 1500-2750rpm max torque band.

Thanks Donna… As you can see… I like the black paint on black rims look lol. Let’s people know not to mess with you lol… but really a gentle giant

Got my mid life crisis car in my early 40’s. Just bury me in it when it’s my time.

It’s a beauty. Would love you to take me for a spin to see all cool places you have over there.

However… I’m first and foremost practical, LOL. Up here you could use that for 2 months if you’re lucky with the weather :sun_with_face: (There are rich ppl bring out their summer cars. I see a certain banana Corvette every year, LOL.)

Food truck :+1:t4:

You’re right about the practical side. Especially up there in Lapland. Funny though, I bought it in Austin Texas and most of the year it was too HOT to drive with the top down. Only had a couple of months to drive it that way. Oh and wifey’s hair. She hates the top down. It will be great when I get to Cali with it though.

Hahaa, I don’t mind my hair. It’s on a ponytail anyway  Oh, actually, you get one month up here! After midsummer we have mosquitos, black flys and other bugs that fly and will bite you, sting you, burn you or suck your blood. Downtown areas are ok but make a stop anywhere else… Hahaa.

If I had a car, these would be the requirements:

  • Engine block heater (absolutely a must)
  • A/C (another must)
  • Tow hook (must have)
  • Gets up an icy hill
  • Easy and cheap to fix and maintain (forget Muerican cars, costs a fortune to get parts over here)
  • Reliable (so forget Fiat)
  • Cheap mileage
  • From this millennium
  • Colour: not white nor black

Other shit I don’t really care about :joy:
