Life or death... What will you choose? #triggerwarning death ⚠️

Tonight we mourn the loss of an AA member and friend. He struggled in and out of the rooms of AA. He would come in so broken practically in tears because he couldn’t stop drinking. He had a wife, daughter and grandson who he loved and they loved him. Last week he took his last drink and one last bike ride. They found a bottle of fireball on him at the site of the motorcycle crash. There’s an “old timer” that always says “this is a serious disease, it’s a matter of life and death” RIP Eddie

Thank you for sharing. This reminds us that we need to take our sobriety dead seriously. Lest we end up seriously dead…and that is not a joke.

It’s so sad how often we loose people to alcohol and yet how rarely society will acknowledge the truth about our glamourised legal drug :pensive:
Sorry for your loss :broken_heart:
