I am currently living in an Oxford House in Florida. It is definitely a beautiful house but there are definitely a lot of people moving in and out all of the time. I have 30 months sober and it is frustrating to meet so many women who move in full of hope and enthusiasm (“I’m going to stay sober"; “I will get my kids back soon"; I am going to complete probation this time!”). I hear this so much but few actually make it past a month. I will not sponsor anyone under the same roof and am not going to tell any of them what to do. But dang this is hard to handle. Anyone have any advice or experience with Oxford House or sober living?

Welcome to Talking Sober, friend!
You may have heard this already, but in sobriety, we learn to step over the bodies. Probably even more true in your living situation, I’d think.
Our friend @bluekoolaid_88 is having phone issues right now, but he has been in sober living in Florida for some time now, and I’m hoping he can weigh in on dealing with the drama, the high hopes and expectations that are crashed apart by booze and drugs.
Another saying in AA is “Stick with the winners”. So get to some outside meetings and find some good long term sobriety there that you can connect with, that may help.
Blessings
on your house, however chaotic it may be!
