Being winter here, bot much going on. Just planning the layout of the garden and green house and coming up with a list of what i need for raised beds and an inclosure for the strawberries.
We are looking for a cheap tree service. We want to clear a bunch of trees and expand our little “orchard”

Canning Pears today.
A lady I work with (single mother of 4) was gifted 2 cases of pears. She gave them to me knowing we can, asking for only 4 or 5 jars in return. Her church is always giving away bulk food, but she cannot take it, because it will go bad before she uses it.
So…i invited her to come can with us, so she could learn how. What she doesnt know yet. Ms. Monkey and I purchased all of the equipment she needs to can at home. Now she will have the skills to gelp feed her family for less.
We had talked about teaching people when decided to make this a non profit organization. We weren’t sure how to go about it.
I guess the universe helped get going un the direction we wanted to go.

This is so friggen cool. You are ROCKIN it. I would definitely be there to help in all areas if I could. I have one friend that can’t cook in her 70s . I have offered free classes by me and have bought books and cookware. She doesn’t ever reach out. I know her loss. Love you guys.
