Just wanted to say hello to all. I am trying to fix myself and save my family. I have been reading these and you all are amazing and beyond helpful. I feel so much better already knowing I have others to lean on that are going through the same struggles. I am hurting bad but looking forward to a sober future.

From someone who speaks a lot on here I haven’t spoken openly about how much I’m hurting, so I respect and feel inspired by you! Welcome and I hope tomorrow we both hurt a little less.

I have learned a lot in the past 24 hours. No more hiding my feelings or thoughts. It’s time to put everything out on the table including the pain. To be completely successful and sober I can’t hold back any longer. I appreciate your kind words and am beyond thankful for finding everyone here.

@Jordon4813 Welcome! So glad you’re here. This is an awesome community of all different types of people getting and staying sober. I was struggling hard yesterday (day 11) but the support I got here was amazing and I did not relapse. Speak up if you’re struggling or having a wonderful day. It all matters and you have something important to offer.
All the struggles are worth it when you get on the other side. Just be open-minded to different ways of doing recovery. Also, there are great posts on here with lots of info (meditation for stress/anger, vitamins to regain our health, lists of what to do instead of drink/use, sobriety websites and books, etc) Happy sober 2017!
