Maybe someone has an advice

Good morning from Germany :raising_hand_woman:t2:

Today with good news and a burning question, day 22 is underway and I’m feeling well, but I feel incredibly tired, I’m sleeping very well, I’m going to work, my everyday life and free time are full of tidying up my life

Maybe I already have the answer in writing and I should take it a little slower?
Greetings from Berlin in autumn :fallen_leaf:
and thanks for ideas and advices

Congrats on 21 days and greetings from a wet Amsterdam. Indeed I think the answer is in your own writing. Take care of yourself, listen to your body, be kind both to yourself and others. You’re doing fantastic. Thanks for being here with us all.Keep going!

Good evening from Japan.
For sure, if you are feeling tired, rest.
When I first got sober I wanted to ‘make up’ for all the time I had wasted blacked out or hungover, so was going to be a perfect mother, worker, also exercise, study, etc. But I couldn’t keep it up.
Not to mention, with the weather, when it gets colder and darker we may feel tired. Some down time to nourish the body and mind can actually help you be more productive later.

I deeply believe that our bodies tell us what we need. When you feel tired it’s time to sleep more. Resting time is necessary and valuable. Listen and slow down, it’s healthy to be aware of changes in needs and to respond to them, not ignore it. Keep going, ODAAT

Have you tried doing some sports, at start with slow intensity and adding up later on as you progress?

Greetings from St. Louis Missouri,

I always try to listen to my body. AS a person who’s constantly fighting to stay sober (today is day 99 of that fight) it’s harder when i’m exhausted, so today i might not go to the gym, but focus on more mindfulness and taking care of yourself.

Yes it is a daily fight and I’m sure that was not SOO present in my mind and the power for has to somewhere come from, so I will be careful going on one day at time.thanks

I remember when I got sober I was exhausted for a few weeks and super depressed. I just kept telling myself I could do it and that it’s temporary. After the exhaustion goes away you feel better and everything is a lot easier even though the road to sobriety is hard. So just remember to believe in yourself and it’s temporary.

Your welcome :raising_hand_woman:t2: it’s a very helpful community to learn and communicate about several issues to stay sober and peaceful and clean.
