Thank you. I also agree because my 2 children are special needs. I take offense and my kids know what it means and offends my teen son but my daughter doesn’t understand it yet.

You are so welcome. If I make someone angry for pointing it out, so be it. Those who do not fully comprehend the power of the word will never grasp the negativity associated with it. I pray that your beautiful children never fall victim to such words.

Thank you @knd61283 and @liv_m. I’m the mother of a special needs daughter and it makes me sick to know there’s still people in this world that continue to use these derogatory terms. My daughter is the sweetest little girl that puts smiles on people’s faces every time we’re in public.
