I do find it very fun and comforting and would love to have coffee with all of you some morning to start my sober day. Or a hot tea @Chiron
We are all in different stages of recovery and friendships and health around here and some days are harder than others. And I do come to this thread for the comfort of seeing some of my friends in the morning for coffee.
I have started to limit my coffee meming intake to 3 greetings. And 3 replies. Or at least that is what I’m aiming for. Need to wean myself down 
And I’ve since moved my coffee gifing to the gif thread because a gif isn’t a meme. So I won’t be doing any more gifs. Maybe if those of us that partake in the coffee memes can just do 2 or 3 in the morning y’all wont have to spend too much time scrolling on by.
I totally respect both your opinions and I do wonder about those that are giving up coffee.

And Salty if I might say. You’ve got the funniest memes on here and I been missing you. You been the meme queen for as long I’ve know ya. I feel terrible that we are the reason you have stayed away. I just figured you were busy.
I’m willing to tone it down more and just post maybe 1 or 2 good morning coffee memes to some special people here that appreciate it. And please forgive me if one slips out during the day. Actually I’m surprised I can even find more that I haven’t already posted. Maybe we can just look for quality instead of quantity on the coffee memes.
But do we really need more rules on the meme thread? I hope not. Making more rules here really takes the fun out of posting. I spend a lot of time making sure I don’t offend anyone on memes that I think are pretty innocent. I hope we can come to a workable solution.
It certainly wasn’t our intention to piss anyone off and keep anyone away from this fun thread. 
I hope not either. I think the last thing anyone in this discussion wants is to get a moderator involved where a hard rule is put down. We are all adults and we all respect each other enough to have a discussion that can work for everyone.
Please don’t worry, for myself, I’m neither offended nor pissed off. I’d been considering how to approach this topic since I know that the coffee exchange means something to you guys. As you say, we are all at different stages, and we all face different difficulties.
I appreciate your willingness to tone down the coffee memes. 
Also the idea of looking for quality over quantity sounds like an excellent idea on your part. I want you to still be able to have the enjoyment of sharing these things that matter to you as well.

Excuse me, good sir, but I believe I posted a meme about two months ago. But for real, I do not use social media… like, at all. 99.9% of all memes I see are here. I do try to post them when they cross my path though!
