Merry Christmas everyone! I know Christmas has come and gone for some of us and also that Christmas can be not necessarily the most wonderful time of the year. No matter your level of Christmas cheer or jeer, this is your thread to post on!
(We will be moving Christmas topics here so we don’t have so many of the same threads.)
Find your message here, add a message or just read thru. Much love to you all

Merry Christmas everyone!!!, this are my first Christmas sober and it is great, no blackouts, no hangovers, no awful jokes, but there are things that remain: boredom, unfortunately more than before, and laziness.
But important thing is, no matter my mood or my activity, main thing is that I am sober with no drop of alcohol. What is first is first.
Awww!! Littles!! This Grandma loves seeing their happy faces and misses my little guy…so thank you for sharing their sweet joy with us!! Merry Christmas!
I can’t recall how active I was on the site this time last year, but over the past week I’ve noticed how the holidays are very trying times for many. In my past life any celebratory day or moment was good enough reason for me to drink and I don’t participate in traditional holidays unless invited so I can’t directly relate to the temptation and distress that you wonderful folks may be facing. However I am encouraging you all to PLEASE STAY STRONG!! I’m routing for you behind the scenes and personally feel impacted whenever someone hits the reset button because I’ve been there so many times, still till this day, it’s still a familiar feeling. Try to remember that a few fun nights aren’t worth months of misery. Even if the cape isn’t in the closet and you’re greeted by skeletons leading to your fall, pick yourself up and try again, don’t give up!!
Merry Christmas everyone!!! I may be roaming this app all day as alcohol surrounds me today:( I’ve loaded up on French vanilla coffee and I’ve shared my worries with my husband. Thankfully my family know I’m in recovery, and are 100% supportive.
Merry Christmas everyone, I hope it is a day of fun, family, and good food for everyone! I know holidays are hard for some, I hope you find strength today!
