I listen to pretty much everything just depends on my mood. My parents were strict when I was a kid so I grew up on music from the 50 and 60s. Then in the 90s I listened to country for a few years and then I moved into rap (good ol snoop, bone thugs and the like) then I moved into alternative/rock/metal and found my home. And recently I’ve gotten into instrumentals and strings. I’m really into Lindsey Stirling right now.

Edit- random side info typing this out made me think of. I’ll never forget the look and the grounding I got when I brought home Marilyn Mason- Mechanical animals :joy:

Oof. I dont think I was clear enough on my question but i meant do you get to listen to “the rock dwayne johnson” rap because you mentioned tech 9.

Oh nooo!
I can picture poor teenage you getting in trouble for that. On the bright side, mechanical animals and antichrist superstar were the best MM albums in my opinion, so it seems totally worth it haha.

And I know how it is listening to a bit of everything.
From frank sinatra to cradle of filth to kool Keith to giorgio moroder, if it sounds good to me, I can get down with it and show some love/respect.

Not quite my cup of tea. I’m more of a punk/rude boy. But I remember Ozzy lashing out “Crazy Train” after I downed a bottle of Jagermeister to ease panic attacks - that’s when they begun. It was nice, but the beginning of a dangerous association: “Booze eases panic”.

But everytime I crave, I remember this:

Where where they?

I was supposed to take my kids to a cannibal corpse show last month in reading. Couldn’t make it. Oldest had a game and I had work.

They were up at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg. I wanted to get to that Cannibal Corpse show but didn’t make it. Went to see Dying Fetus and Terror in Reading a couple months ago. I like that venue a lot and pretty easy to get to.

I’ll have ri check it out, they told me about it at the last minute, I said sure as long as I can dress up as ace Ventura.

But it didn’t pan out. Eh there’s other shows

I saw social distortion at the Sherman theater

Hahaha I saw Cannibal corpse in Philly at the Union Transfer years ago and some kid made his way up on stage dressed as Ace and did a quick dance before getting thrown off the stage
