“In This Defiance” is, in my opinion, the best Strife album. Their newest one, “Witness A Rebirth”, is solid as well.

Art Cruz is a verrrrrrrrrry solid choice to replace Chris Adler. His other band, Winds of Plague, is rad too. Against the World is my favorite album from them, it even has a spoken word track from the Ultimate Warrior.
That’s right. Completely forget it was the drummer from winds of plague. I use to listen to them all the time. Along with acacia strain. Man how things have changed.

Im really digging these guys too. I just want straight up, simple metallic hardcore. My head cant handle anything to fussy or dark right now.

Always loved this band. When I first heard them, it was some of the heaviest stuff I’d ever heard in the hardcore scene.

Did you hear the bassist died last month?
I did. He was three years younger than me, so not that old at all…I’m hoping it was an undiagnosed health issue and not another addiciton caused death.
Any thoughts about new Ozzie album? I personally like it.
I’m into “Under the Graveyard”, but everything else I’ve heard from it, hasn’t been my favorite. It might grow in me though.
