All those years I was deeeeep in my vegan straightedge hardcore stuff, I somehow missed Overcast. Luckily, I found Shadows Fall, and was able to trace them back to it though.

I remember seeing Shadows fall before they had Brian as a singer. Hehe so funny to think back to those days.

Did you see them with Phil Labonte???

Yeah, I look back on those days a lot. I was playing/recordig/touring/going to tons of shows. Life was a lot simpler then.

Yes I believe it was him. I’m almost positive they were not even on the line up on the flyer for the show. I think it was a converge show too. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Nice. I’ve never seen Converge live. Always wanted to, though.

Magma is one the most prolific albums I’ve listened to in a long time. No filler whatsoever.

Not sure if this qualifies as metal, but I always thought it was a pretty rockin’ song.
I heard it again the other day and have had it in my rotation since.

For anyone who knows of Queenscryche… I love you and your taste in music!! (No one my age listens to it, 24 year olds couldn’t care less)
Metal is my life and love next to my higher power!! Love this thread!!!
