Metal Thread (Part 1)

One of my favorites… So creative. The use of cartoon samples for the whole album. Again, Mike patton is a genius.

This is a fun show, not really “metal” but when I saw them it was like an hour long full scale riot…

Badass!!! Melvins is one show I’ve still never seen… And I’ve been to a loooot of shows! Did you watch the locust?

Yeah, they were awesome!! Around that time Melvins seemed to play in the UK really often. I must have seen them 4 or 5 times in the space of a couple of years. I loved that era of them with Big Business and 2 drummers. So heavy. I remember Dälek being one of the loudest shows i’ve ever seen, really cool.

Nice!! The loudest two shows I’ve seen were my bloody valentine, and you’ll know us by the trail of the dead. I literally was deaf for a week!

My Bloody Valentine headlined one of those ATP shows around the same time. I didn’t go myself, but some friends did and I have a vague memory of them saying it was so loud that it blew the entire rig out and they had to stop early

I think the loudest show ive been to has to be sunno))) tho. I love them, but it really is ridiculous. You can feel your clothes vibrating!

Couple of classics there @Tommo :ok_hand:

Black coffee and a bit of old school Japanese hardcore gave me a much needed kick up the backside this morning :skull:

I wasn’t surprised :joy:

I love most music, mostly Metal and the past few years I have managed to combine my love of photography and my love of music. Having photographed quite a few great concerts along the way. This is one of my favourite pics of LJ of Sevendust. Might share some more pics if that’s ok?

Go for it, the metal thread doesn’t get a lot of traffic for some reason :rofl:

Never a bad thing

Horror/noise hop isn’t really metal… But in the similar vein, my favorites are death grips and clipping! So good…
