My roots, also found out this song was in Cobra Kai,

Also of the note, the guitarist Chris Holmes just celebrated 25 years sobriety

Underrated metal band,

I get a lot of my influence from Chris Holmes

Yeah man Blackie Lawless was sick, they had a fairly consistent career though I enjoyed there stuff in the 2000s as well. Agreed best era of WASP is with Chris Holmes on lead :metal: Mean Man Chris Holmes

He’s releasing a movie, called mean man, I saw some cliff notes about it,

There’s some stuff on YouTube

Yeah man I love though that Nikki Sixx and Blackie Lawless were in the band Sister and they took different directions and split that band into Mötley Crüe and WASP. I believe the pentagram symbol for Motley was from Sister, him and Blackie stayed good buds. Both went sober different times in life

didn’t he become a priest or something?

The first year of my sobriety, Slipknots Iowa album and the song Jail from Down were on constant repeat.

I know he became a born again Christian which he refuses to perform early songs and edits a lot of his music because of it.

The Crinson Idol movie, has been altered to suite his tastes

Iowa is my favorite Slipknot album hands down

I think it’s the favorite of most slipknot fans. It’s their best album.

Another good song I listened to a lot was Suicide note part 1 from Pantera. IMO one of the best songs Phil ever wrote.
