My DOC has consistently been alcohol but it also lead to drug use. I think I’ve been clean 4 years from meth and that had a pretty good grip on me for about 18 months because the man I was dating used it. Oddly, once I got away from him I cold turkey put it down but then I just started drinking heavily again.
I am 31 days clean from using meth for 17 years! Congratulations on your 50 days clean! It has been a terrible month for me mentaly, but I feel so free to be sober. I realize, I now have to deal with everything I have numbed for all these years, which is terrifying to me, but if I can make it through these last 30 days, I can do anything!
