Ah, can’t replace him unfortunately, but I can post unofficial mind-blowing random thoughts! For a little while, at least. I’m not prepared to take this up indefinitely…
Honey is basically bee vomit. Some bees are “forager” bees, which collect nectar from flowering plants. The foragers drink the nectar and keep it in their “honey stomach.” When the forager bee takes the nectar back to the hive, it regurgitates the nectar into the honey stomach of the “processor” bee near the entrance to the hive, which regurgitates it on the hive and allows it to ripen.
Wait wait wait. Double bee vomit? Mind blown!
April 18th unofficial mind-blowing random thought of the day: Lava isn’t the only way a volcano can burn you. Pyroclastic flow can make currents of gas, ash, and rock flow at speeds of up to 200 m/s, or 450 mph, at temperatures hot enough to make the volcanic material glow.
Wait… Where did Rob go?? What did I miss?
It was sad to see him go but I understand people need to move on.
I totally missed him leaving. That’s what I get for not being on here as much. Sad to see him go.
Fresh pineapples contain bromelain, an enzyme which breaks down proteins and essentially attacks your tongue, cheeks, and lips on contact. It’s basically “tenderising” the inside of your mouth. But don’t worry, your cells regenerate quickly.
That’s why my mouth hurts so bad after eating too much pineapple. It’s my favorite summertime snack by the pool and I always overdo it.
Back in the early 1800’s, people thought tomatoes had medicinal qualities.
One doctor claimed they could treat diarrhea and indigestion, so he made a recipe for a type of tomato ketchup which then became a pill.
Your random facts are choice.
I will probably not be posting these daily anymore, but as much as I can.

As a former resident of Wyoming I am aware of this fact. Also the tallest livable buildings (non farming) are MacIntyre and White halls on the University of Wyoming campus (as of 2003) at a whopping 12 floors. Mac 10 was my floor.
