Aug. 3rd mind blowing random thought of the day: Typewriters were originally called “literary pianos.”
Aug. 4th mind blowing random thought of the day: In Ancient Rome, lemons were used as an antidote to cure all poisons.
Aug. 5th mind blowing random thought of the day: The oldest letter in the alphabet is “O,” dating back to around 3,000 BCE. The youngest letter in the alphabet is “J.”
Wow that is random it never occurred to me that letters appeared at different times. I guess I just accepted that it’s like the book of Genesis, “and on the 8th day, He created the alphabet, and forever more people mispeled ervytehnig.”
Aug. 6th mind blowing random thought of the day: Bamboo can grow approx. 3 feet in just 1 day.
Catch up! Aug. 7th mind blowing random thought of the day: The space between a person’s eyebrows is called the “nasion.”

I love fresh lemon or lime in my water too. Although can be harsh on your teeth/enamel so I usually try to use a reusable straw Cucumber is tasty too
Aug. 10th mind blowing random thought of the day: The Capitol building in Washington, D.C. has 365 steps to represent every day of the year.
And a quarter of a step at the very end, so you do that awkward full leap thing, overcompensating.
Gets me every single time!
Do they install an extra step in a leap year? Just wondering.
Lol they should! A secret passage or something
Maybe that’s why there’s the quarter step at the end, to avoid installing a temporary “leap step”…
Wedding doughnut.
I understand free speech.
I understand political correctness
I don’t understand why people would want to say something to hurt other people.
Aug. 12th mind blowing random thought of the day: A cubic mile of fog is made up of less than a gallon of water.
What’s that in metric?
I mile is about 1.61 Km, with 1 gallon being about 3.79 Liters. Not going to do the math to get that down to 1 km, sorry.
If my calculations are correct, it’s 1,46 liters per square kilometre
1 cubic mile = 1.61 km * 1.61 km * 1.61km
= 4.71 cubic kilometres
1 gallon per cubic mile --> 3.79 L for 4.71 cubic kilometres
3.79 L/4.71 cubic kilometres = 0.80 L per cubic kilometre
groans in pain Why, imperial? Why?!?
