It’s possible to lick own elbow, but it can be done, once an arm is broken
Feb. 5th mind blowing random thought of the day: On February 5th, 1918, the separation of church and state was officially established in the USSR.
Feb. 6th mind blowing random thought of the day: Centralia, Pennsylvania is a near-ghost town due its underground mine fire that has been ongoing since 1962. The air is fouled by poisonous smoke, and it is estimated that less than 10 people live in the whole city.
Hey folks, we’re taking a trip to Centralia!
TS road trip?
I’m out of likes, but LOL!
Hey! We can have out first annual Talking Sober Convention there. Registration would be FREE!
If you want to live in a place that small, Eureka, NU and Alert, NU will have cleaner air… due to the lack of mines that are on fire.
Lol. @KevinesKay I was going to say that Robin would not approve of that trip, if that means that all the lifeblood of the forum die from toxin exposure in a ghost town.
So… Random thought (serious concern): how many deaths are we going to see in one month’s time?
Lord, have mercy
If they are reporting 1000 it is probably 10000 is my fear. Also, they are spraying everything but don’t know how it is transmitted.
Feb. 7th mind blowing random thought of the day: During a snowstorm in 1887 in Fort Keogh, Montana, snowflakes reached a diameter of 15 inches wide, the largest ever recorded in history.
Now we know where Game of Thrones takes place. Thank you!
Feb. 8th mind blowing random thought of the day: In honor of Colonel Sanders’ famous secret blend of 11 herbs and spices, KFC’s Twitter account only follows all 5 former members of the band Spice Girls and 6 different people named Herb. When a Twitter user noticed this and pointed it out, KFC sent him a painting of himself holding a drumstick while riding piggyback on the Colonel.
I would submit that in our reality, 2D patterns or objects like shapes can only exist in theory. A square, triangle, circle, trapezoid, you name, all have to be drawn with some kind of medium. That medium has a thickness meaning that the shape It’s supposed to represent is actually an object in 3-D. Even a single point must be 3D.
Looked at that way, imagine how stifling 2D reality would actually be.
Feb. 9th mind blowing random thought of the day: The ginkgo biloba tree is approx. 270 million years old, rarely suffers from disease or an insect attack, and was one of the only living things to survive the Hiroshima, Japan nuclear bombing.
Feb. 10th mind blowing random thought of the day: The Antipodes Islands in New Zealand are inhospitable volcanoes that have an extremely cold climate and harsh winds. Furthermore, its natural ecosystem is being destroyed by a large population of mice unintentionally introduced to the islands in the 19th century by multiple shipwrecks.
Human intervention at its best Rob. We can even destroy volcanic Islands.
Is there anything we can not do?!
I would say that we can’t seem to agree that the world has gone to pot and it’s our fault.
Eh. It balances itself out. Eventually we will extinct ourselves and the planet will thrive without us. Just look at what’s happened to parts of Chernobyl. Wildlife has flourished within the dead zone because of the isolation for human’s ruining their habitat.
