Sometimes I skip a day or two. When I come back I consistently run out of likes because there’s a lot to catch up on.

Yes! Sometimes the Checking in Daily thread alone takes up all my likes.

Maybe I didn’t catch this in the guidelines but, why aren’t we allowed to like all we want?

The like limit is a way to prevent spam on the forum. The current tiers are as follows:
New User: 50 likes per day
Member: 75 likes per day
Regular: 100 likes per day
These are sufficient in my opinion. What do you all think?
Eh…I’ve only run out like 3 or 4 times, and since there’s badges, fabulous prizes and other accolades associated with spreading the like, I’m OK with the current levels.
I don’t have as much time to post as some of the regulars. I might post a 1-2 times a day. However I do like to spread a little happiness by liking lots of posts while reading though them. As I said if I skip 2 days there can be 100 new check in posts in the Checking In Daily thread alone, not counting the chit chat and other encouraging stuff.
So I don’t find it enough but I may be an exception.

Good point. Some badges and titles are tied to likes as well - so it shouldn’t be spammable.
I’ve run out a couple of times recently as well. Maybe there’s more people on the forum now?
