Good morning everyone. Have a great day.
Your posts are wonderful, Butch. This is such tremendous service to so many people, I’m sure. Know that they are really appreciated and a part of our daily practice - thee is so much to relate prayers and meditation to here, and to just guide us in our daily activities.
Please keep these posts going
I appreciate you saying that. Posting everyday helps keep me sober. I’m so thankful for a place to be able to share my sobriety outside of the AA tables. You all help keep me going everyday. Thank you for all you do. Stay safe and sober this weekend.
Morning, Rich!
How are you doing?
I slipped for a little bit but am back. Talked to my doctor about the feeling of apathy that I’ve been ignoring and I started a new medication today to help. So, we shall see! Oh, and next time I am feeling I can’t get it together I am talking to a therapist through work.
Thanks for asking
That’s good to have a plan and support ppl you can call when you get in that place. I’m glad you are back. That takes a lot of strength to come back and to look inside to figure what you need. I’m proud of you.
There are a lot of open talks on YouTube and I listen to a podcast called Mad Dog recovery. I listen to them on the way to work and the way home. It helps keep my thinking straight.
Thanks Rich, I haven’t listened to any or read any books. Part of my issue, can’t focus, the medication is supposed to help with that. I’ll listen to that one.
The AA book has an audio book app too. I downloaded that and followed along in my book. It helped me in the beginning wen my head was all over the place. Be patient with yourself. If you have any questions or want bounce some thoughts off someone I check in in daily.
Good morning everyone. Some true reality checks hit me this morning. It is a new day to be keep trying be the best version of myself. Stay sober keep making progress. One day one step at a time.
Good rainy morning everyone. I love the sound of rain on the fallen leaves. Fall in Michigan is my favorite time of the year. Have a great day.
What if I fall? Oh, but my darling, what if you fly?
