Hope everyone is having a good day. I got to see the promises in action today. Started the day with a meeting, made homemade beef barely soup to simmer all day, went to a pumpkin patch/corn maze then to another cider mill for the best cider and donuts. Getting to spend time with my kids sober is the best gift ever. Now we will chill since we are too full to move lol.

My sister calls me a control freak, I’m still yet to understand how or why she says that but that page on self control and controlling others is a helpful thought for me! 
Read the last paragraph of page 60 to the top of page 62. It is out of the Big Book of AA the chapter how it works. It was an eye opener to me on how I used to view things.

I am watching my behavior to learn to change… And comments I make that seem controlling… Today I said to a colleague to make sure they put an object away after use in training and received as sarcastic ‘yes hazy’… And then I laughed noticing my comment and shared that I seem to be a bit of a control freak and to please pull me up so I know to change…

Good morning everyone. I know this is a tough time of year for some of us. Stay strong. This used to be a big drinking night for me. This year I will actually be off in time for trick or treating but the kids are older and going with their friends. Which works out fine since it is supposed to be cold and rainy. It is rare in Michigan that you actually see a Halloween costume unless you buy one big enough to fit over your winter coat. Lol. Hang in there.
