Loved it so much, Iāve watched it 3 times!!!
We rented Project Hail Mary last night. I havenāt read the book yet, so donāt know how they compare.
I really enjoyed it. Loved the story and the message. Heartwarming, funny, suspenseful and visually appealing. Movie is long, but kept me entertained.
Ryan Gosling did a fantastic job.
Space still and will always scare the s**t out of me.

I listened to the book before I saw the movieā¦Iām a little bit of a nerd, so the extra science stuff in the book that they needed to leave out of the movie was really interesting to me. But I agree that Gosling was good! Also loved Sandra HĆ¼ller, sheās an amazing actress.

Cds, vinyl. Vhs, dvd, bluray, 4k?
More to the point. If thereās enough of us I could start a thread for that. Or we use this one? Id just like a place to share what I have picked up recently as well as share collection photos.

Iāve actually considered a Blu-Ray collection. Iām a big gamer but everything I own is digital. Iāve seen some collections of physical games and blu rays and they look great! Especially special editions. And they are quite cheap nowadays too from second hand shops

I stopped all streaming services.
Because I wanted to build a collection. We werenāt using them much. And now I have a hobby I share with my wife.
New bluray can still be $20+ here which can add up 2nd hand isnt to bad.

Second hand here you can get them for about Ā£1-Ā£5 which really isnāt bad

For me its cult classics. 90s and 2000s era.
Our collection is quite eclectic. We share some movie taste but yet have very different taste as well definitely makes for interesting movie nights

I collect vinyls. Havenāt gone out looking in awhile but always love checking out old record shops when I can. Might give me an excuse to get back out there.

I think as i get older the more i enjoy this film for nostalgic reasons. Its one of my wifeās favorites. I needed background noise while I restacked the collection today.
Hitchikers guide to the galaxy
absolutely love this movie, its aged well. Set design to story this movie is super fun the whole way through.

If you can handle a bit of song and dance as well as a soppy love story youll be ok.
To me at this point its a historic bit of cinema in the likes of if you are a movie person you should see it at least once. A bit like star wars imo.
Ill give anything a go once and itāll land on my shelf if I love it enough

HE MAN meets the modern age. Dare I say a bit politically correct. But super enjoyable.
10/10 everything this movie should be!
my brother and I saw this today in a empty theater, was just us. Took us back to being kids on a saturday morning. Character design was super cool. Heaps of adult jokes thatāll go over the kids heads.
