The Tinder Swindler has claimed the top spot on Netflix for the last 3 weeks for most popular film worldwide. Itā€™s a doccie type film but absolutely shocking what this guy got away with

Had me enthralled from beginning to end and that says a lot, my concentration hasnā€™t been the greatest lately , be sure to grab a big bowl of popcorn :rofl::rofl:

The Lost Daughter.

Ponderous, dull and filled with characters you simply donā€™t give a shit about. At least 30 minutes too long, though not even tighter editing would have saved this bland slice of boredom.

Watch something, anything else / 10

We need more Ted Lasso in our lives donā€™t we?
The Morning Show on Apple TV was done really really well. At least the first season. So well acted. The subject may not be of interest to watch a series about. You know, the ā€œMe Too,ā€ movement. But it was so well done. Wifey and I loved it. And hated it so much if you know what I mean.

Fuuuuck. Thatā€™s on our list because of award season. :grimacing::grimacing::grimacing: and OC is so great in everything. Dang it. Well itā€™s not up for best pic. But OC is up for best actress again.

The preview looks riveting. Thanks. Will check it out after awards season.

Give it a go if you want.
Can always turn it off.

Iā€™d be interested in your assessment. Itā€™s not like Iā€™m some super-knowledgeable film critic, so my reviews are pretty basic and stripped back to the core of my feelings while watching.

Those are the only two shows on Apple :apple: TV I watched. Billy Cruddup is my favorite. And amen to more Ted Lasso.

I really appreciate this review. Almost went to see this because of Olivia Coleman.

ā€œInventing Annaā€ is my latest fave.netflix

Thatā€™s on my list for May when I turn Netflix back on. Heard great things!

It was a bit long but I liked it. Wifey hated it.
I love  Lady Gaga. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
And what can ya say about Jared Leto? Always a character.

It was fantastic! And they won some SAG Awards last night. I was so happy for them. Itā€™s about time we recognize stuff like this in the movies. I hope it will sway the Oscarā€™s.

I donā€™t get into the awards and such of films. I just like to watch. I LOVE that the lead girl actually had to learn ASL to star in the movie. Troy Kotsur is so funny and who doesnā€™t like Marlee Matlin!?

He got the award for actor in supporting role last night. He was a hoot to listen to last night.
My wife had to point out Marlee was the lady on Seinfeld :hugs:. She was fun to listen too as well last night. Iā€™m just so happy it went for them.
And they got the award for Cast In. Motion Picture.

My wife and I try to get in all the nominated movies this time of year for the awards. Itā€™s grown to be kinda one of those things we enjoy doing every year.

Thatā€™s nice you and your wife do that. Gotta love the quality time!

Another good/OKā€™ish movie about hard of hearing/deaf content is called Sound of Metal on Amazon. If youā€™re into that kind of thingā€¦ But it does really well letting you hear and feel how we, hear and feel. Riz Ahmed is incredible in that one.

Loved that one  We were kind of pissed off they didnā€™t get recognized enough or more. Very well done.
I always cry at Mr Hollands Opus.
My mom was a pianist, band, music teacher and she went deaf. It was so hard on her. And us. Truth be told. And my grandmother went deaf after working in a cracker factory in the mills.

I loved the part in CODA at the end and where the music went silent, like we had to listen to the silence, like a deaf person had to. It made me cry. Iā€™m a sap . But I donā€™t mind.
