Can’t remember ever watching a John Ritter movie. I only remember him from 3’s company and he died so young.

I’ve done it… I gave into the craze!

It’s 4 out of 5 starfish from me :star::fish:

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but apart from the obvious teen craze for catchy k-pop songs, colourful manga hairstyles everywhere and typical girl friendship and maybe boy crushes, the animation is fun and detailed, the characters well portrayed and the overall story is heartfelt, leaning into self esteem, self acceptance and the pressure of being perfect.
Will watch again.

Wow :open_mouth:
Can’t believe that was Billy Bob Thornton and John Ritter.

Hard to find though. It’s only on Red Coral Universe. Never heard of it before. It’s a free movie app, but it has commercials.

Enjoyed this one more than I expected to.

Well done.
Quite interesting.
Except for that darn button I didn’t see the comedic side. But I enjoyed it a lot.

Yeah same, amusing rather than comedy… That wry kind. And was it an American movie but based in Switzerland/Austria? It was fairly strange wasn’t it?!

But overall I really liked it. A slightly surreal, ā€˜Home Alone’ caper. But also touching somehow.

Got this one off your list @bluekoolaid_88
I barely remember watching it a long time ago. I barely remember watching anything a long time ago  I love PSH

Edit @bluekoolaid_88 The Master might be next on my list. Never seen that one.
Thanks for your list.

Before the devil knows your dead is awesome. I love Philip Seymour Hoffman. I definitely suggest the master. I’ve watched it two times and definitely could watch it again. It’s loosely based off the guy who started Scientology I’m pretty sure … And Joaquin Phoenix character does a really good job playing an alcoholic in my opinion. It’s just one of those movies that you know right away it’s going to be good. I think that’s pretty cool you’re getting movies from that list I’m glad someone’s benefiting from it

***Sort of spoiler alert for the devil movie….

Ps: Before the Devil knows you’re dead is a perfect example Of how things can go wrong Like seriously wrong even if you think you have everything planned out

About 30 minutes into this movie this is really good! I highly recommend this unless you’re sensitive to violent type scenes or anything gruesome… I feel like I’ve possibly seen parts of this in the past but not the whole movie but maybe I have. I’ve said it before but one of the interesting things about being a recovering alcoholic and drug addict is that I can watch the majority of things again and like it’s for the first time..

Starring ..Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Jr.

Watching on Tubi.. Which is free and actually has a lot of great movies. I’ve actually deleted the majority of my movie streaming services and now Only watch movies on Tubi …Unless I get DVDs at the thrift store

About to watch Scarface I think. Has anybody on here seen that movie? I’m not sure if this is normal but sometimes I get overwhelmed with all of the possibilities with movies and it’s hard to pick one.. But supposedly this is a classic and I’m surprised I have not seen it

On Tubi

I thought about watching Goodfellas but I’ve seen that movie like three times

If anybody has any recommendations on Tubi please let me know! Currently that’s the only movie streaming service I have and I actually like it it has a lot of good stuff and it has live TV/ sports

Saw the new movie ā€œCaught Stealingā€ in theaters, it was pretty good, but it’s about alcoholism to an extent, and shows a scene of people using coke, so it could be triggering to some of yall. But I found it was a good reminder of why I’m sober and such

OK cool I’m definitely going to continue watching it. I’m about 20 minutes in.. But I’m still going to pretty much hang out here tonight and occasionally go back to the movie. I probably can watch another one when I’m done but I’m just not sure what. I am off tomorrow and don’t have anything going on until 1 o’clock

I see the Truman show is on there with Jim Carrey maybe I’ll watch that after Scarface

I love Steve Buscemi.
It was interesting, entertaining, not great. But fun to watch. And that lady from Severence is in it.

I thought you might like this movie.
A Street Cat Named Bob

The story centers on the unlikely friendship between James, a recovering addict, and Bob, the cat who becomes his constant companion and ultimately helps him find a new direction in life.
