two weeks sober today!
thanks to the support of talking sober tomorrow i will beat my longest streak of sobriety.

my biggest accomplishment was delclining wine with my mother in law, it was really tough because that is the way we have bonded in the past…my biggest motivation is my future career (student intern currently) and my relationship with my husband. what about you??

Thats great and so relatable!
My biggest accomplishment so far is two social gatherings and resisting the urge to drink. For me, that’s HUGE because socializing is such a difficult thing for me anyway… I was able to engage without being socially awkward, and again, HUGE!
My biggest motivation besides my two young girls, is helping others on here. Sobriety has never before brought me so much joy. The more I get to know everyone on here, their stories, their struggles, it moves me beyond words and into action! For the first time, I don’t feel alone in this and I want to keep that feeling as well as give it away to as many as I can!
9 days here… and more committed than I’ve ever been to not give into the struggle.
