I use music to help get through the tough days. In the words of Atmosphere “These Headphones keep me from remembering, also guilty of letting me not forget” Sometimes when I’m down and im hard on myself and forget just how far I’ve come in my recovery, I play this song and I remember just how low I got. I very well could have wrote every damn word of this song and it is still like a punch in the gut. This song makes me appreciate the life I still have to the absolute fullest, for better or for worse, and makes me never want to travel that dark path again. Hopefully someone out there can get the same use out of it as I did. “I wish I was who I appear, because I despise the man in the mirror…”
