Great idea to get back into it. I’ve been meaning to do the same thing for years.
I understand your journey better now, who you are. Music is so great.
Have a great day!

@CR84 thank you for sharing this. Music is really the language of the soul.I found this post very helpful
Another month has passed since I started this thread discussing my journey to that point. I decided to keep it updated throughout. We’ve had a remarkable month, both musically, mentally, and in our overall lives. All these milestones are a direct result of our sobriety.
We’ve made significant progress in finalizing the recording project. I expect it to be complete by the end of next month. Of course, progress also brings some minor mental challenges. I’m realizing the need for collaborative efforts, but we’ll see how it unfolds as it comes. I’m actively trying to let go of my tendency to overthink every scenario, which inevitably leads to my demons resurfacing. Fortunately, through my mistakes, I’ve gained valuable insights into my tendencies.
We also celebrated both our 60 Days and his birthday. We embarked on a 5-hour trip to Michigan, marking our first-ever sober trip. It was an absolute delight. We visited our favorite music shop, B’s Music Shop (also on YouTube if you’re interested in pedals, especially). Other days were spent exploring the breathtaking scenery. He expressed that it was his first genuinely happy birthday in years and his first sober birthday ever. That made me incredibly happy, especially since I had just as much fun.
Now, we have a brand new pedalboard lineup. We acquired three new pedals that all support small businesses. We got a Supercool Thneed (the owner is a huge Seuss fan), a Supercool Trash Panda (developed from shortages and spare parts), and finally a B’s Custom Summer School Meowdle School Chorus. I’ve included a bunch of pictures for anyone interested. As always, feedback is welcome. Share your musical experiences here. Perhaps avoid YouTube links, lol.
Oh, and I almost forgot the hot pink pedal at the end was what we used yesterday. It’s essentially a very basic DIY pedal, and I absolutely love it.
Rock on
And as always thank you
