Had 8 months and back to day one
Been drinking for about 10 weeks again on and off
My neuropathy went completely and I forgot to be greatfull
Now it’s back and I wish I’d never started again
Back in that all consuming feat that only we know.

One day at a time I will get better.
Maybe not the perfectionist image that my mind sees and wants while drenched in fear. But a compromise that comes from acceptance and hard work.
