That would be so exciting. Are you required to make a Hajj or is it something that’s more personal, or is it both? I know I would love to visit the Holy Land one day. 
We have what’s known as “The Five Pillars Of Islam” and Hajj is on that list. It’s said for those who are able to go, they should. It’s my dream to go for Hajj because there are many different parts to it and you get to relive the journeys of prophets (peace be upon them). I know people that have gone and they all say it’s an experience of a lifetime.
If you aren’t able to go, are you granted permission to have a substitute? For example, in Catholicism, during a Jubilee Year, pilgrims make their way to Rome. However, not everyone has access or means to make the trip. So, the Vatican allows the local bishops to decide where pilgrims can go to receive the same graces. It’s usually local churches and shrines. Does Islam have something similar?
