To honor the world’s favorite grouch, Oscar, from “Sesame Street,” National Grouch Day was created on October 15. This is a day to celebrate all the grouches we know — or to embrace the grouch that lives inside all of us. On this day no one can stop us from complaining, being irritable, or wallowing in misery. Because that is what grouches do! Also, this day teaches us that it’s good to spend time processing our negative emotions. On social media this a fun day with people posting jokes, memes, funny photos, and stories.
Is it really?! I had no idea that they dedicated a day to my grouchy ass haha oh my Am I grouchy right now?.. not really to be honest. But give it 10 min and Im sure that will change lol
I was getting my grouch on earlier… They put up these posters and work, which say something like:
"Choose from your attitude menu
bitterness
anger
resentment
Or
happiness
inspirational
motivational"
I just felt like ripping the posters down and putting them in the shredder… Like if it was just as easy as “choosing” not to be upset and angry then WOW what and easy solution that is… Why didn’t someone tell me that years ago? What else can I choose not to feel?? Fear?? Grief???
