New here! If anyone has advice or a perspective on how sobriety has helped them, I’d enjoy reading!

Hoping for some positive change!

Interesting. I’d say that every time I do something ridiculous, I have nowhere to blame it but on myself. I spend much more tedious time with behavior, as alcohol used to make me do some things I would never do sober.

It will completely change your life for the best. You get what you put in it. Have to really want it. You’re here for a reason. Just imagine it like taking off a pair of sunglasses that are scratched, smudged, giving you a headache, and everyone dislikes that pair on you. So you take them off and you can see. More focused, free mind, people like the way you walk in life, etc… change your habits. Find good things to do. Get with like minded people. And most importantly, keep fighting one day at a time! When you have an urge, anger, whatever it is, come here and read what us other idiots have been through. Ask for help.
