New York State, where you at?!

Ok team, here’s the deal:

I’m working in the Hudson Valley till February.

If I don’t find places to go, people to see, stuff to do, I’m gonna rot away in the hotel like some gnostic monk.

What are the must see places in New York State, this fall/winter? I don’t mind driving a ways on the weekends. It’s so beautiful here I love it. But where do the non-tourists like to spend their time?

Hi! A couple of suggestions. Visit the Storm King Art Center. A beautiful outdoor Sculpture Museum; visit the Croton Dam Park (the Dam is awesome); visit Beacon, NY (a fun town to walk)
