This was an eye-opener I read recently and I thought I would share it here.
The contrarian in me wants to show companies that I’m onto them and have stopped falling for their marketing. It’s just a little extra push that helps keep me sober. I would love to hear thoughts about this.
I’m reading a memoir called “Smashed: Stories of a Drunken Girlhood” which discusses similar ideas. It’s pretty great so far.

I also liked how they mentioned the movie Trainwreck. Love me some Amy Schumer, but man does she promote a drinking/drunk culture.
I had no idea all of this was going on. Have any of you seen these types of Facebook ads? Evil alcohol industry spinning its evil web!
That was a scary read and I just have to hope my body is repairing itself. Thanks for the link but this forum could use a Facebook sad face icon for stuff like this instead of a like button.

There is no safe consumption of alcohol!! Finally it’s sinking in!! I don’t want cancer and I don’t want to risk that!! People who say well you can have one have no idea what it does to the only body we have!
It’s my decision and I choose life and a full fun filled healthy one!!
In this article it just shows how money talks keeping us trapped keeps profits up!! I won’t give them anymore of my life, health and money!!

It’s a very scary thought but it was our choice just wished I had all the facts before starting drinking in the first place!! Wish had seeked support sooner. But we are on the right track now so can only be heading to better thing!!!
