Wondering what you all would do. I do a lot of crafting as gifts. People always like them but it’s work and a labor of love. My boss is getting married this Spring and my husband and I (who also works for him) are not invited. Mainly because he and my husband don’t get along. My heart is saying I should make him something anyway. Feels like the right thing to do and would be consistent with the lessons I’m learning in recovery. What are your thoughts?

I do shadowboxes with my Cricut machine and quilling. Something love related.!

That is freaking cool! I love anything colorful and rainbow inspired. If you think you should make something for them, why not? Do it up!

Thanks! I SO enjoy doing them. It’s something I can do and only think of that. No worry, No problems. I sold this to a guidance counselor who was going to put it in her office for the kids. That makes me happy. I’m going to recreate it only bigger, because I kind of wish I still had it! I think I will end up doing it for him.

Old me might have been hurt enough not to do it, but I’m kind of telling myself to get over those ego driven games. I can easily find a moment at work to do it. Plus he gave me an excellent review today!

Wow, that is gorgeous. I definitely agree that you should make them something. Kindness and generosity cost nothing and add so much to our world. So thoughtful of you and who doesn’t love a gift made especially for you. :heart:
