I also dislike this time of year. For me it begins when we set our clocks back and its dark at 4:30.
The holidays are a struggle for me. I don’t have any family. But Im lucky enough to have friends that invite me to their homes for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I go and put a big smile on my face and pretend Im happy. (Fake it til you make it).
I send cards and I decorate. But I just do all that because you’re supposed to.
